Why Panel Guardian?
The Panel Guardian allows you to see what is happening inside your panel by providing 24/7 monitoring that detects problems before they escalate. Designed and manufactured in Canada, this system acts as a constant watchman for your electrical infrastructure, ensuring you always know exactly what is happening inside your panel.
How It Protects You
We focus on two critical indicators of electrical health to keep your investments safe:
1. Temperature Monitoring
The system compares the temperature inside your electrical panel to the surrounding room temperature. While these temperatures should normally be nearly identical, a higher panel temperature signals serious concerns like a bad breaker or loose wiring.
2. Current Monitoring
It measures the difference in electrical current between the power wires entering and leaving your panel. Any difference indicates that electricity is leaking or returning through the ground wire, which points to failing/faulty equipment or incorrect wiring.
To make this data easy to digest the system calculates an Alert Factor (0-4), allowing you to understand your panel’s condition at a glance.
